Who I Am

After taking an interest in advertising & marketing whilst in school I went on to study the subject at The University of Glamorgan in Wales, here I took a three year degree course in Marketing, with the focus being the evolving nature of advertising and the emergence of digital marketing. Whilst here I represented the university in The 2005 IDM (The Institute of Direct Marketing) National Student Direct Marketing Competition.

After graduating from university with a first class honours degree I went on to work a number of temporary marketing roles before finding my first full time position in a search engine marketing agency. I’m interested in all forms of advertising and branding with a particular interest in thought provoking marketing campaigns and great brand positioning.

I’m also more geeky than I would like to admit and whenever I’m not trying to convince myself that I need to newest gadgets you’ll usually find me either on the tennis court or the golf course, most probably looking for a lost ball in the rough. If I’m not in either of these places (usually because it’s raining or is cold) you’re probably best looking for somewhere that’s showing a live sporting event as that’s where I’ll be.
